Short answers to the most common questions about The Galactic Holocron, your data, and what this site does (and doesn't) do.
Locally in your browser by default — nothing is sent anywhere. If you sign in with Google (optional), progress also saves to the cloud so you can pick up on any device. Manage or delete your account from the Account page.
Clear your browser's site data for galacticholocron.com to wipe local progress. If you're signed in, you can delete your account entirely from the Account page — this removes all cloud-saved progress permanently.
Spoiler-Free mode is on by default. It hides era dates, plot-heavy pause notes, and a couple of descriptions that spoil key reveals (the Machete Order intro, for one).
If you've seen everything already, flip the Spoiler-Free switch off and you'll get the full context.
Chronological — every film and series in-universe order, grouped by era.
Release Order — everything ordered by the year it came out.
Machete Order — Rod Hilton's 2011 proposal (IV, V, II, III, VI) with Episode I skipped.
Hardcore — arc-level ordering with the brutal Clone Wars / Siege of Mandalore / Bad Batch-Rebels interlocks called out, per-episode checkboxes, and series-switch pause notes.
All release dates, in-universe dates, and episode details are curated by hand, cross-referenced with Wookieepedia and IMDb. Every entry links back to both so you can dig deeper.
Runtimes are either exact (for films and individual episodes) or a per-series average used where episode-level data isn't practical.
Whenever new canon drops. New series get added as they launch (Maul: Shadow Lord went in the week it aired). Check the change log to see what's been added recently.

The Kaminoan Codex only includes clones who appear or are named in canon screen media — that's The Clone Wars, The Bad Batch, Rebels, Revenge of the Sith, and Obi-Wan Kenobi. It currently covers 145 named clones from those shows.
It does not include clones from the Legends continuity (the old pre-Disney EU), nor clones who only appear in novels, comics, or video games. If a clone you're looking for only exists in Legends or non-screen canon, they won't be in the registry.
Found someone missing who does appear on screen? Come flag it on Discord and they'll be added.
Share links freely. For anything more involved, the project is released under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 — you can remix and build on it for non-commercial purposes as long as you credit the original and share alike. Commercial re-hosting isn't permitted.

I've always wanted a single place where I could work through the entire Star Wars saga in proper order — films, live-action shows, and every animated episode woven in exactly where they belong. Most lists get you part of the way there, but the Clone Wars arc-level ordering, the Bad Batch overlap with Rebels, and the brutal interlock between Siege of Mandalore and Revenge of the Sith kept tripping me up.
So I built The Galactic Holocron. Standard mode is the clean chronological run most people will want. Hardcore mode is the deep-cut viewing order — arc-level, with the pause points and overlaps called out so you know exactly when to switch feeds. The Kaminoan Codex is a niche little game for tracking every named clone you spot while watching. Progress saves locally by default, or to the cloud if you sign in with Google.
If it's useful to you, come say hi on Discord. Feedback, corrections, and arguments about episode order all welcome. May the Force be with you.
